Estonian Picnic in the Park at Paradise Beach Park in Tiburon, Sunday, September 12 | 11 AM - 2:30 PM

Let's get together for a day in the park!

 

Join us by the bay in Tiburon for an afternoon outside.

 

We'll celebrate some of the milestones we've missed, including the 30th anniversary of Estonia's renewed independence this week, as well as being able to get back together again.

Donations are welcome (suggested $5/adult, children free).

Food and drink.

 

The Estonian Society will provide grilled hotdogs, sauerkraut, and dessert.

 

You are welcome to bring something else to throw on the barbeque, sides, and whatever else you want!

 

We will not be hosting a potluck table. BYOB.

Kids' nature scavenger hunt.

 

Join us at 1 PM to play! Prizes will be awarded.

About Paradise Beach Park.

 

This "peaceful 19-acre park in Tiburon with sweeping bay views" has many attractions, including bay swimming, kayak/canoe launch, license-free fishing from the pier, plenty of space for lawn games, natural areas, and accessible picnic sites.

 

Dogs are not allowed.

COVID safety is important to all of us.

 

This event will be entirely outdoors, and as there will be lots of room, we encourage you to bring blankets, etc., so that we can spread out.

 

Please be kind and thoughtful; do not attend if you or anyone in your household is experiencing symptoms or has been made aware of any COVID exposure.

 

In that case, we’ll look forward to seeing you again another time!

Parking is $5.

 

The lot may fill up on the weekend, so carpool where possible and plan ahead.
