A Political Appeal Concerning the Territorial Integrity of the Republic of Estonia

Addressed to: European Union and NATO member states, states having diplomatic relations with the Republic of Estonia, to the United Nations, and the international general public

We will soon mark the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II (WWII). That traumatic period of history continues to weigh heavily on several countries even now, including Estonia.

The Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact (MRP) – signed between communist Russia and Nazi Germany in 1939 – paved the way for WWII. We direct your attention to the fact that the Pact also ultimately resulted in numerous coerced and forcible territorial changes for a number of states and peoples of Europe.

Eesti saatis ÜRO hääletuse eel New Yorki lisajõudusid

Eesti saatis New Yorki täiendavalt diplomaate, kes koos seal juba töötavate ametnikega teevad viimaseid jõupingutusi teiste riikide esindajate veenmisel, et võita reedel, 7. juunil  toimuv hääletus ÜRO Julgeolekunõukogu mittealalise liikme kohale. Hääletuse eel saabuvad ÜRO peakorterisse ka president Kersti Kaljulaid ja välisminister Urmas Reinsalu.

Epp Sonin's Musical Journey in Song and Story

Epp-Karike Sonin always amazes, inspires and delights us — especially on January 11 when she beautifully performed at the dedication of the "Epp Sonin Music Room"  at the Follen Church in Lexington, Massachusetts.  

Her lovely lyric soprano captivated everyone. The spacious room, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and cathedral ceiling, was filled to capacity. The overflow audience watched the program being streamed to monitors to other church function rooms.

Eesti noored üle ilma kõnelesid VÄE päeval

Laupäeval, 28. novembril  tähistati virtuaalse otseülekandena VÄE päeva ehk Välis-Eesti päeva Okupatsioonide ja vabaduse muuseumist Vabamu.

Välis-Eesti päeva tähistatakse liikuva pühana novembrikuu viimasel laupäeval.

Eelmisel aastal toimus päeva raames A.H.Tammsaare teksti „Truudus“ ühislugemine.
