Sel aastal on ilmumas raamat Arvo Pärdi Keskuse arhitektuurist „Arvo Pärt Centre & Nieto Sobejano Arquitectos. A Common Denominator. Ühine nimetaja“, mis sisaldab üheksa fotograafi – Roland Halbe, Tõnu Tunneli, Arne Maasiku, Paco Ulmani, Birgit Püve, Kaupo Kikkase, Priit Grepi, Kris Moori ja Riho Kirsi – eriilmelisi pilte sellest ainulaadsest hoonest.

Peale fotode pakuvad raamatus leiduvad esseed laiemat vaadet muusika, arhitektuuri, looduse ja teoloogia kohtumisele sellel arhitektuursel teekonnal. Arvo Pärdi sõnad ning teose „In principio“ visandid ja partituurid kõrvuti arhitektuursete jooniste ja plaanidega toovad esile sünergia kahe kunstivaldkonna – arhitektuuri ja muusika – vahel.

The architecture of the Arvo Pärt Centre will be the focus of a new book due to be published in 2020.

Entitled “Arvo Pärt Centre & Nieto Sobejano Arquitectos. A Common Denominator. Ühine nimetaja“, it features photos of the unique building by nine different photographers – Roland Halbe, Tõnu Tunnel, Arne Maasik, Paco Ulman, Birgit Püve, Kaupo Kikkas, Priit Grepp, Kris Moor, and Riho Kirss.

In addition to the photos, there are essays taking a wider look at how music, architecture, nature and theology converge on this journey through architecture.

Arvo Pärt’s words, the sketches and scores of his work “In Principio” side by side with architectural drawings and schemes, outline the synergy between two fields of art – architecture and music.

The book will be published by the publishing house ArchiTangle and the Arvo Pärt Centre.
