Estonian Architecture To Feature In London Festival
ERR News - Three Esto-nian entries will be shown in the “Atlas of the Unbuilt World” exhibition, which is part of the London Festival of Architecture set to take place in June. The exhibition opens at the Bartlett School of Architecture in London on June 6. Cultural adviser to the Estonian Embassy in London, Kristel Oitmaa, said that the invitation to participate is a great acknowledgment and could open doors to foreign markets. The three entries, chosen by the British Council, a partner of the festival, include a pyramid complex made out of limestone waste, drawn up by the Kadarik Tüür architecture bureau; a chimney project for the Tallinn Creative Hub by KAVAKAVA; and a design by the bureau Pluss showing their vision for the new Veskimetsa horseback riding center. Construction of all three projects is set to begin in the near future, the ministry said.
