20 Years Of Seabrook Educational And Cultural Center (SECC)

The multicultural Museum at Seabrook, NJ celebrated the 20th anniverssary of SECC with a formal dinner on Sept. 10, 2014.
The SECC represents the history of 29 different nationalities, two of the largest groups being the Japanese Americans and the Estonians.
At the dinner, president of the SECC, Mr. Bruce Peterson and Mr. John Fuyuume (Trustee Emeritus) were honored.
In 2013, the SCEE was praised by Toomas Hendrik Ilves, President of the Repubic of Estonia, in a letter hand-delivered by the then - Consul General Sten Schwede, thanking the SECC for preserving and telling the rich history of Estonians who immigrated to America and all they have contributed to the community of Seabrook, NJ. by relocating there.
