TeliaSonera and Ericsson have entered into a strategic partnership by combining the TeliaSonera network with Ericsson technology to let customers in Stockholm and Tallinn experience 5G services already in 2018.

Sweden has long been a pioneer ICT-nation and notably Ericsson and TeliaSonera launched the world’s first 4G network in Sweden in 2009. According to the latest Ericsson Mobility Report, there will be 150 million 5G subscriptions by the end of 2021.
