Honoring Sumner Wells and Loy Henderson
The Baltic Embassies and local diaspora organizations gathered on July 23, 2019, at the Rock Creek Cemetery to honor Sumner Welles and Loy Henderson. Estonian Festival Orchestra Coming to Carnegie Hall
The Estonian Festival Orchestra will perform at New York's Carnegie Hall on October 11, 2020 under the direction of its conductor Paavo Järvi. It will be part of a U.S. tour with a concert in Washington likely. Founded by Järvi in 2011, the orchestra, which debuted at the Pärnu Music Festival was "hand-picked", bringing together the best of Estonian talent and leading musicians from from around the world.

Estonian Singing Revolution is Preparing To Take On Broadway Stages
This year Estonia celebrated the 150th anniversary of the Estonian Song Festival with the biggest show ever welcoming over 30,000 singers and over 90,000 viewers to the song festival grounds in Tallinn. There's no better way to continue this celebration of a beautiful tradition by spreading awareness about ways how Estonians kept the culture alive despite historical challenges and used music as a form of peaceful resistance during the singing revolution.
